About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. This role involves completing network improvement projects in collaboration with the current network engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring and installing various network devices and services, performing maintenance and upgrades, monitoring performance and system availability, and managing network assets. This position requires communication with HQ network engineers in South Korea to implement and operate Global Mando Network Solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems or related field
- More than 5 years’ experience in network engineering technical areas
- Proven experience managing mid- to large-scale network environment across multiple locations
- Proficiency with BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, and VLAN trunking. Experience with Cisco
- Strong knowledge of firewall management (Palo Alto, PFsense or Cisco) and VPN technologies (IPSEC/SSL)
- Experience managing enterprise-grade Wi-Fi solutions and troubleshooting RF interference.
- Deep understanding of the OSI model, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SNMP.
- Must be at least 18 years of age due to federal labor law requirements.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent industry certifications are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., Firewall, Switches, Wireless controller, NMS).
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches and hot fixes.
- Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
- Configure firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security.
- Manage and keep track of all network assets (Hardware & software).
- Communicate with HQ network engineers in South Korea to implement & operate Global Mando Network Solutions.
