About The Position

North Point Technology is looking to hire a Network Engineer to support mission-critical network and infrastructure operations. The qualified candidate must have an active TS/SCI security clearance and will design, maintain, and troubleshoot local and wide area networks, core Microsoft network services, and application-delivery infrastructure. The ideal candidate has deep hands-on expertise across enterprise networking, Windows Server environments, and virtualization, and thrives supporting secure, high-availability systems.

Requirements

Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP administration
Group Policy design and management
LAN/WAN maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance support
Citrix NetScaler load balancing (MPX and VPX appliances)
Windows Server administration
Storage Area Network (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS) management
Cisco routing and switching
Firewall administration (Palo Alto)
Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance
DoD 8570-compliant certification (e.g., Security+)

Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop virtualization (VDI)

PowerShell scripting for automation

Responsibilities

Engineering, maintaining, and securing enterprise network and infrastructure environments.
Administering Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
Maintaining LAN/WAN connectivity and performance.
Configuring Citrix NetScaler load balancing across physical and virtual appliances.
Managing Windows Server systems and SAN/NAS storage.
Performing patching, security scanning, and remediation.
Supporting disaster recovery and backups.
Collaborating with internal teams to deliver reliable, high-availability solutions.
