We are currently seeking a Network Engineer to support operations in Quantico, VA. This is a full-time position requiring an active DoD Top Secret clearance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field (ABET/CAE-accredited) OR 5+ years' experience in network design, infrastructure, and security
Hands-on experience configuring routers, switches, firewalls
Experience applying STIGs, IAVA compliance, and DoD cybersecurity policies.
Familiarity with RMF, network segmentation, and defense-in-depth design.
Familiarity with virtualized networking infrastructure and Software Defined Networking (SDN)
Must have a current and active DoD Top Secret security clearance.
Proficient with modern IT tools and infrastructure technologies

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of LAN/WAN architecture, VPN security, PKI, and common attack vectors.
Familiarity with Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) tools and traffic analysis.
Experience supporting DoD environments

Responsibilities

Provide network engineering, administration, and cybersecurity support for multi-classification networks and infrastructure
Create virtualized environments to support test events, ensure operational readiness, and troubleshoot issues during execution.
Administer network systems: apply patches, harden systems, review logs.
Support RMF compliance activities, including documentation and vulnerability analysis.
Integrate server and virtual hosting technologies into secure network architecture.
