About The Position

Our client is filling this contract position exclusively through approved staffing partners, so this opportunity is not available by applying directly with the client. This is a temporary project estimated to last 12+ months with possible extensions.

Requirements

• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Tallahassee, FL
• Experience with network engineering, including infrastructure/network hardware and software design, planning, and implementation (3-5 years)
• Experience with Chapter 282, F.S. requirements
• Experience with network monitoring tools including SIEM tools
• Experience with network Operations Center ticketing systems
• Experience with confidentiality of records in accordance with Chapter 119, F.S.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal staff and, occasionally, external customers to provide application maintenance and enhancements
• Provide technical documentation of work performed
• Monitor the network's performance, identifying, tracking, and reporting issues, and ensuring timely resolution
• Work on connectivity, security, and DNS issues escalated by the Network Operations Center
• Provide timely updates and reports on network status to relevant stakeholders
• Assist in ensuring the security of deployed applications
• Coordinate network maintenance activities and may serve as a project team member or lead, mentoring junior technical staff
