Role Responsible for the architecture, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of the network infrastructure, including, but not limited LAN, WAN, DNS, DHCP, IDS/IPS and network security infrastructure. Responsible for annual budgets pertaining to designated systems. This includes maintenance contracts, planning, evaluation, and purchases of software and/or hardware to assure reliable performance of these systems. Major Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for annual budgets pertaining to designated systems. This includes maintenance contracts, planning, evaluation, and purchases of software and/or hardware to assure reliable performance of these systems. Liaison to all outside vendors and support centers to interface other computer systems with the designated systems. Logs/tracks system errors and problems with designated systems. Ensure that proper backup and disaster recovery policies and procedures are in place, functioning properly and periodically tested and reviewed for designated systems. Oversees installation and maintenance of data cabling corporate wide. Responsible for purchasing, installing, troubleshooting and maintaining LAN/WAN systems. Responsible for the design and planning of credit union IT telecommunications rooms and data centers. Directs IT Technicians and IT Interns. Manage internal and external IP address space. Analyzes, troubleshoots, and solves issues with network infrastructure including, but not limited to, network monitoring techniques and tools that support unattended operations and daily network related alerts and activities. Responsible for writing technical design and build documentation for all aspects of technical infrastructure. Serves as a member of the Information Security Council. Advises committees on system requirements for special projects and manages technical projects as assigned. Other duties as assigned by management. Follows policy and procedures related to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Customer Identification Program (CIP) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) daily to ensure compliance with current regulations. Follows policy and procedures related to SARs by reporting suspicious activity to the Compliance department. Responsible for filling out an incident report for detected computer intrusion of Credit Union computer systems per Bank Secrecy Act. Completes mandatory BSA/AML annual training via online web course.
