The Network Engineer (Level II or Senior) plays a critical role in supporting the mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital by ensuring the reliable, secure, and scalable network services that connect researchers, clinicians, staff, patients, and remote locations around the world. As a member of the team responsible for Tier 0 network infrastructure, this position designs, implements, and supports the foundational services upon which all other technology systems depend. This role provides leadership for the operation and advancement of enterprise networking technologies, including DNS, DHCP, IP Address Management (IPAM), Cisco Network Data Fabric Controller (NDFC), load balancing, wireless networking, remote access solutions, edge connectivity, and related infrastructure services. Through proactive engineering, strategic planning, and operational excellence, the Network Engineer (Level II or Senior) helps ensure that critical research, patient care, and business operations remain connected and uninterrupted. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled engineer who thrives in a dynamic environment, balancing long-term infrastructure initiatives with operational support and incident response.
