About The Position

Peraton is hiring a Network Engineer to support the United States Special Operations Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance task order at MacDill Air Force Base. The work supports USSOCOM, its component commands, Theater Special Operations Commands, and deployed forces with operations and maintenance services for globally distributed mission operations operating 24x7x365. The Network Engineer serves as a technical lead for the design, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of secure enterprise network infrastructure. The role emphasizes advanced network security and Zero Trust enforcement, including endpoint compliance, network access control and Comply to Connect (C2C) frameworks, and application micro-segmentation using tools such as Cisco Secure Workload. The engineer helps establish dynamic security policies and secure application data flows across complex, mission-critical Department of War networks.
