About The Position

The Northrop Grumman’s CIDO Classified Solutions team is seeking a Network Engineer to work on exciting new next generation technologies and their rapid deployment to end users. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time at either our El Segundo, CA or Aurora, CO location. Due to the classified nature of the work being performed, this position does not offer any virtual or telecommute working options. Requirements

  • Master's Degree in a STEM field with 3 years of relevant experience; OR a Bachelor's Degree in STEM field with 5 years of relevant experience (for Level 3)
  • Master's Degree in a STEM field with 6 years of relevant experience; OR a Bachelor's Degree in STEM field with 8 years of relevant experience (for Level 4)
  • Must have a Security+ certification or greater
  • Candidates must have a current US Government Top Secret level security clearance (at a minimum) in order to be considered
  • Candidates must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, access to Special Programs as a condition of continued employment
  • Extensive experience with Cisco device and associated enterprise software solution installation, configuration, administration, and management across routers, switches and firewalls
  • Experience and knowledge of IPv4/IPv6, VRF creation and maintenance, VPN configuration, IPsec tunnel configuration and management, IP schema definition, subnetting, VLANs and routing protocols
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge of L1 thru L6 networking
  • Experience with crypto and COMSEC including configuring HAPIEs, key loading and management

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree Network Engineering
  • Active TS/SCI, Polygraph, or SAP/SAR access
  • Understanding of network automation scripting using Ansible, Python, Bash and/or Shell
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies like VMware and their associated networking solutions (e.g. NSX)
  • Current CWAN access

Responsibilities
