About The Position

The Network Engineer administers, maintains, secures, and accredits the Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board (DNFSB) network. Responsibilities include monitoring, testing, and analyzing all elements of the network facilities. The duties include planning, installation, maintenance during or after work hours, troubleshooting, and network management.

Requirements

  • BA/BS from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 5+ years experience, or substitute with AA/AS with 7+ years experience.
  • IAT Level II (CySA+, Security+, CND, or SSCP) Certification and CE/OS Certification.
  • 3 years of progressive experience in computer system/network engineering.
  • 2 years of specialized experience related to the tasks.
  • Experience or knowledge with wireless network deployment, implementation, configuration, and management.
  • Experience or knowledge of managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a network access control system.
  • Secret Clearance
