The Network Engineer will monitor, maintain, and support the health, availability, and reliability of the enterprise network environment, from local sites through cloud connectivity. This role involves day-to-day operational support of LAN, WAN, wireless, SD-WAN, firewall, and cloud network services, ensuring stable and secure connectivity across the enterprise. The engineer will proactively monitor network performance and stability, identify potential issues, and respond to alerts to prevent or minimize outages. They will serve as a primary responder for network incidents impacting multiple users or services (L2), providing troubleshooting, remediation, and coordination. Participation in an on-call rotation for after-hours support is required. The role also includes supporting enterprise network connectivity, executing performance tuning and optimization, and supporting operational vulnerability management for network infrastructure. Collaboration with engineering and architecture teams to operationalize designs and integrate new capabilities is expected. The Network Engineer will act as a first line of operational defense for network outages, escalating complex issues as appropriate, and maintaining awareness of network status, changes, and risks.
