About The Position

Agile Defense is seeking a Network Engineer to operate and manage network equipment, configure and optimize network hubs, routers, and switches, and develop and implement network backup and recovery procedures. The role involves diagnosing and resolving network connectivity issues, installing and maintaining network infrastructure device operating system software, and monitoring network capacity and performance. Additionally, the engineer will patch network vulnerabilities, test and maintain network infrastructure, implement and test contingency and recovery plans, and establish and maintain network security practices. The position also requires analyzing network traffic capacity and performance characteristics, developing and validating network security measures, and preparing and maintaining documentation of network configurations and changes.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, OR Software Engineering
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
  • CompTIA Cloud+
  • CompTIA Security+
  • GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
  • GIAC Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)
  • GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
  • Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
