About The Position

Provides Network support that requires system level design, architecture or enterprise security and security boundaries, datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure packet capture software, TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls. This role involves the physical installation and configuration and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices. The position also requires supporting on-call requirements and working in a live call environment utilizing ticketing systems to track tasks.

Requirements

  • TS/SCI with both Polygraphs is required
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing and switching protocols.
  • Strong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols.
  • Strong working knowledge of stateful firewalls, and L3 access controls.
  • Working knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree + 3 years minimum experience, OR No Degree + 5 years minimum experience, OR 3 (three) years demonstrable experience in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection.
  • Must have datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification

  • Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, Infiniband, Juniper, FiberChannel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC)
  • Virtualization products; VMWare and Solaris containers.
