About The Position

We are hiring a Network Engineer Team Lead to support and enhance enterprise network infrastructure across a dynamic, mission-driven environment. This role sits at the core of network performance and reliability, security and firewall management, and modern enterprise connectivity. You'll work hands-on with Aruba networking technologies and Palo Alto firewalls to ensure secure, high-performing environments. We are seeking hands-on engineers who can design and support enterprise networks, troubleshoot complex connectivity issues, and optimize performance across LAN/WAN/WLAN environments. This is a technical, execution-focused role, not just monitoring, but actively building and improving systems.

Requirements

5–7 years of enterprise network engineering experience
Experience leading a team of engineers
Hands-on experience with Aruba networking technologies
Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls
Strong knowledge of routing & switching
Strong knowledge of VLANs
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP
Strong knowledge of DNS / DHCP
Strong knowledge of VPN technologies
Strong knowledge of wireless networking
Experience with network monitoring and performance tools
Experience troubleshooting complex network issues
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and in team environments
Clear communication and documentation skills
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience accepted.
U.S. Citizen
Must support occasional onsite needs (for remote candidates)

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support LAN / WAN / WLAN and VPN connectivity.
Maintain high availability and performance across network systems.
Configure and manage Aruba switches, wireless access points, controllers, and management platforms.
Optimize wireless and switching environments.
Administer Palo Alto firewalls, including security policies, NAT rules, VPN configurations, and threat prevention.
Monitor logs and enforce security best practices.
Diagnose complex issues involving routing and switching, wireless performance, and firewall and connectivity.
Analyze and improve network performance.
Perform network upgrades, migrations, patching, and refresh efforts.
Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Work closely with cybersecurity teams, cloud engineers, and systems and operations teams.
Provide Tier III support and mentor junior staff.
Maintain network diagrams, SOPs, and configurations.
Ensure consistency and compliance with standards.
