Nice To Haves

• Relevant professional certification such as CISSP, CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate, or similar credential.
• Experience supporting voice, collaboration, contact center, SIP, QoS, or telephony network services.
• Experience with network automation, monitoring tools, configuration management platforms, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Working knowledge of Linux and Microsoft operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, wireless, SD-WAN, VPN, routing, switching, firewalls, and secure remote access services.
• Configure, deploy, and support network hardware, software, and services, including routers, switches, wireless access points, firewalls, cloud networking components, and network management platforms.
• Design, deploy, and support Microsoft Azure networking services, including virtual networks, subnets, routing, Network Security Groups, Azure Firewall, VPN, ExpressRoute, DNS, and hybrid connectivity.
• Maintain firewall policies, network segmentation, access controls, and related security standards in partnership with Information Security and infrastructure teams.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and escalation support for complex network incidents, outages, performance concerns, and application connectivity issues.
• Perform root cause analysis, develop remediation plans, and implement corrective actions to improve network reliability, performance, and service availability.
• Monitor network health, capacity, utilization, availability, and performance trends; recommend improvements to support growth, resiliency, and operational excellence.
• Administer IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols, and related network services to support reliable enterprise connectivity.
• Lead or support network lifecycle activities, including hardware refreshes, software upgrades, patching, configuration management, change planning, testing, and implementation.
• Partner with vendors, circuit providers, managed service providers, and internal teams to install, troubleshoot, and maintain network and voice connectivity.
• Develop and maintain accurate network diagrams, configurations, standards, procedures, runbooks, and operational documentation.
• Translate business and technical requirements into secure, scalable, and supportable network solutions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in architecture reviews, design discussions, technology evaluations, and product recommendations.
• Provide technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and mentoring to team members and operational support personnel.
