Our work depends on a Network Engineer Senior joining our team to support USPACOM J6 mission outcomes through MPE network engineering, modernization, secure integration, and operational collaboration across the Indo-Pacific. GDIT is seeking a Network Engineer Senior to support USPACOM J6 MPE Network Engineering activities at JBPH-H, helping modernize enterprise IT capabilities and strengthen mission partner interoperability across the Pacific.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant experience supporting the role, mission area, or equivalent DoD/enterprise IT environment.
- Tactical data links
- Joint/coalition interoperability
- MPE network integration
- Operational coordination
- Technical analysis
- Mission partner communications
- Final Secret security clearance.
- Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, technical writing, customer engagement, and ability to coordinate across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner teams.
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting USPACOM, combatant command, service component, or joint/coalition mission environments.
- Experience working in government site environments and coordinating with military and civilian stakeholders.
- Experience with mission partner, coalition, tactical, or multi-enclave networking.
Responsibilities
- Plan, engineer, and support MPE network capabilities aligned to MPE Network Engineering.
- Analyze network performance, interoperability, and resiliency needs across mission partner environments.
- Provide tactical data link expertise to support joint, coalition, and mission partner interoperability.
- Coordinate technical requirements involving operational communications, network integration, and data exchange across partner environments.
- Collaborate with USPACOM J6 stakeholders, service components, mission partners, and GDIT team members to resolve technical challenges.
- Prepare clear technical documentation, briefings, status inputs, and recommendations for customer and internal leadership.
