Our work depends on a Network Engineer Senior joining our team to support USPACOM J6 mission outcomes through MPE network engineering, modernization, secure integration, and operational collaboration across the Pacific. GDIT is seeking a Network Engineer Senior to support USPACOM J6 MPE Network Engineering activities at JBPH-H, helping modernize enterprise IT capabilities and strengthen mission partner interoperability across the Pacific.

Requirements

Technical training/certification(s) and 12+ years of relevant experience supporting the role, mission area, or equivalent DoW/enterprise IT environment (or B.S. in Computer Science and 8+ years of experience)
network engineering; MPE network design; routing and switching; transport integration; troubleshooting; technical documentation.
Active Secret Security Clearance.
Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, technical writing, customer engagement, and ability to coordinate across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner teams.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting USPACOM, combatant command, service component, or joint/coalition mission environments.
Experience working in government site environments and coordinating with military and civilian stakeholders.
Experience with mission partner, coalition, tactical, or multi-enclave networking.

Responsibilities

Plan, engineer, and support MPE network capabilities aligned to MPE Network Engineering.
Analyze network performance, interoperability, and resiliency needs across mission partner environments.
Develop and review network designs, implementation plans, diagrams, and technical documentation.
Troubleshoot complex network issues and coordinate resolution across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner teams.
Collaborate with USPACOM J6 stakeholders, service components, mission partners, and GDIT team members to resolve technical challenges.
Prepare clear technical documentation, briefings, status inputs, and recommendations for customer and internal leadership.
