GDIT is seeking a Network Engineer Senior to support USPACOM J6 IT Modernization Project Support activities at Camp Smith, HI, helping modernize enterprise IT capabilities and strengthen mission partner interoperability across the Pacific.

Requirements

8+ years of relevant experience supporting the role, mission area, or equivalent DoD/enterprise IT environment.

Final Top Secret Security Clearance
Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, technical writing, customer engagement, and ability to coordinate across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner teams.

Experience supporting USPACOM, combatant command, service component, or joint/coalition mission environments.
Experience working in government site environments and coordinating with military and civilian stakeholders.
Experience with mission partner, coalition, tactical, or multi-enclave networking.

Responsibilities

Support IT modernization projects from requirements definition through planning, integration, testing, and transition.
Collaborate with technical teams to mature prototypes, modernization sprints, and enterprise capability improvements.
Provide tactical data link expertise to support joint, coalition, and mission partner interoperability.
Coordinate technical requirements involving operational communications, network integration, and data exchange across partner environments.
Collaborate with USPACOM J6 stakeholders, service components, mission partners, and GDIT team members to resolve technical challenges
Prepare clear technical documentation, briefings, status inputs, and recommendations for customer and internal leadership.
