About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer with significant hands-on Cisco and Arista configuration, deployment, and sustainment experience. The role supports network infrastructure across operational environments, ensuring equipment reliability, configuration compliance, and ongoing system availability. The position includes hands-on hardware troubleshooting and support for network equipment in Texas as directed by EHSC teams, as well as occasional travel to Maryland to support customer and program requirements.

Requirements

• Significant hands-on experience configuring and sustaining Cisco and Arista network equipment.
• Familiarity with LatteArt and supporting STE/STN and SSP compliance requirements.
• Experience troubleshooting network hardware and infrastructure issues.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with engineering and operational teams.
• Willingness to provide hands-on hardware support in Texas.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Maryland.
• TS/SCI Poly required.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco and Arista network devices.
• Provide ongoing network infrastructure sustainment and operational support.
• Support LatteArt and compliance requirements associated with STE/STN and SSP for network devices.
• Provide hands-on hardware troubleshooting and support for network equipment in Texas as directed by EHSC teams.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and configuration issues impacting network operations.
• Coordinate with engineering and operational teams to support network infrastructure requirements.
• Travel occasionally to Maryland to support customer and program requirements.
