About The Position

Sunayu, LLC has an exciting new opportunity to support the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC). We are looking for professionals to help us manage and modernize the IT infrastructure that drives world-class language instruction for the DLIFLC’s diverse academic community. The individual in this position will serve as the contract lead Network Engineer IV. Responsibilities include wired and wireless network performance monitoring, network optimization, testing, IT project management, implementation of network security controls, advanced troubleshooting and analyzing all elements of the network infrastructure. Background in Team Management, Project Leadership, Network.

Requirements

  • Must have experience working with network infrastructure, preferably with a focus on Extreme Networks products and solutions.
  • Have a strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including but not limited to LAN, WAN, routing, switching, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network security.
  • Shall possess a combination of experience and skills with the following manufacturers and applications: VMware NSX: Install, Configure, Manage (V6.2), Ruckus Layer 2 Switches / Wireless Controller / Wireless Access Points, Palo Alto Networks Firewall knowledge of PA-7050 / PA-3060 / PA-3260 / PA-5450 / WildFire/URL Filtering, Brocade MPLS Implementation Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches, Cisco Networks switches and routers, Aruba Networks Excellent knowledge of Wireless Controllers / Access Points / Airwave / ClearPass, Ciena 100G OME 6500 DWDM System, Extreme Networks Layer 2/3, MLXE Switches /Extreme IQ / OSPF, BGP, and MPLS, SolarWinds, InMon Sentinel, Uptrends.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25LBS. Position may require moving files, bending and standing.

Nice To Haves

  • Extreme Networks Certification highly recommended.
  • IAT Level II certification (CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) and applicable CE/OS Certification.
