About The Position

The Network Engineer - IT position is a full-time role responsible for the implementation, maintenance, support, and development of communications networks. This role involves significant data analysis, communication, and issue resolution, making up 80% of the job. Key duties include network configuration and troubleshooting, planning, designing, and implementing unified communications and collaboration infrastructure projects, creating and presenting designs, overseeing implementations, and continuously monitoring company systems. The role also requires creating design documentation with purpose statements, test plans, required personnel, hardware resources, cost estimates, and schedules. Additionally, the position contributes to warehouse efficiencies and cost reduction by analyzing product and delivery issues (10% of the job) and fosters a positive work environment through open feedback and communication (10% of the job). Team leadership responsibilities include maintaining a positive work environment, supporting company culture, ensuring a healthy and safe workplace, and strengthening relationships with internal/external customers and suppliers. The role also ensures efficient inventory management and merchandise allocation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or relevant technical degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1 to 3 years of working experience as a network administrator.
  • Able to configure, install, and troubleshoot networking devices and firewall.
  • Good working knowledge on Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Must be fluent in English.
  • Flexible to work overtime for special projects or business supports.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Effectively communicates concepts with various levels of the organization.
  • Must maintain strong attention to detail.

  • Knowledge in Linux is an advantage.
