About The Position

Power the technology behind elite athletics and unforgettable game‑day experiences. We’re seeking a Network Engineer III to serve as a technical lead for enterprise‑scale and stadium network systems supporting wireless, IPTV, security, and core infrastructure across athletic facilities—including Kyle Field. This is a hands‑on leadership role at the intersection of sports, live events, and high‑performance networking.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Five years of network design experience
  • Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Knowledge of advanced Information Technology (IT) and the Interface Technology Library (ITIL).
  • Ability to perform intermediate troubleshooting and maintain client relations.
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
  • Excellent written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain the security and integrity of critical infrastructure, which may include communications systems, computer networks and systems, cybersecurity systems, electrical grid, hazardous waste treatment system or water treatment system.

  • Knowledge of project management, mentoring, negotiation skills, basic vendor relations, advanced client relations skills, proposal writing, business acumen, persuasive communication, adaptability to change, team leadership skills, and quality assurance methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate complex network engineering projects from design through deployment
  • Architect, upgrade, and secure enterprise and stadium‑scale networks
  • Support wireless and IPTV systems across all athletic facilities
  • Manage core switches, firewalls, and critical infrastructure at Kyle Field
  • Partner with vendors, stakeholders, and project teams on new technologies
  • Troubleshoot high‑impact network issues in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments
  • Create and maintain SOPs, network documentation, and diagrams
  • Use automation tools to streamline network operations
