About The Position

This role involves the design, engineering, configuration, testing, and documentation of HOSC network architectures within a complex, multi-vendor, and multi-protocol environment. The engineer will implement network changes, support daily operations, troubleshoot customer issues, and provide support during critical activities. Monitoring system health and status is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Basic working knowledge of routed data protocols and hardware platforms.
• General understanding of network architectures.
• Ability to multi-task between multiple ongoing projects in order to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
• Must be able to attain a Public Trust Clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of and experience using CISCO routers and switches as well as network CheckPoint firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineering, configuration, testing, and documentation of HOSC network architectures in a multi-vendor, multi-protocol environment.
• Implement network changes such as router and switch configurations requested by customers.
• Support Daily Operations and support customer Troubles Calls and issues.
• Support HOSC Operations during high visibility or critical activities.
• Monitor systems health and status using available tools and techniques.
