About The Position

The Purchase District Health Department is accepting applications for a full-time Network Director for local consortium initiatives located at our District Office in Paducah, KY. This is an in-person position with no remote options. The role involves project management for federal grants, consortium coordination, and community health planning to address community health priorities. The Network Director will represent the agency in various community groups and coalitions, attend relevant meetings, and maintain collaborative relationships with health agencies. This is a full-time, contract position.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree from a college or university
• Five (5) years of health related or education experience
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• At least an intermediate level of knowledge of Microsoft Suite particularly Excel
• Must attach transcripts to application, can be unofficial
• Must have reliable transportation
• Travel required
