About The Position

Drive technical strategy for large-scale network initiatives. Make high-level
architectural decisions, collaborate on complex, multi-team network projects.
Define technical standards and best practices. Define technical standards and
best practices. Create comprehensive network architecture frameworks. Develop
scalable and resilient network designs. Resolve critical, complex network
issues. Develop innovative solutions for challenging problems. Guide systematic
improvements across network infrastructure. Provide technical guidance to
multiple teams.

Requirements

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Networking, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered, or a related occupation.
• Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Networking, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master’s degree and one year of experience.
• Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): (1) major internet routing protocols specifically , BGP, OSPF, MPLS, RSVP and ISIS in a large enterprise environment; (2) working with major network operating systems such as Cisco IOS or Junos; and (3) experience in large network environments.
