About The Position

This role is responsible for performing a wide range of network engineering functions to support reliable, secure, and efficient system operations. The Network Engineer plays a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining network and sensor infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with organizational requirements. The position involves installing, configuring, and maintaining network and sensor hardware, as well as developing and executing plans for system layouts, upgrades, and enhancements. The Network Engineer implements and manages network security measures, proactively monitors network health, analyzes traffic patterns, and improves visibility through metrics and alerting. This role also includes troubleshooting and resolving hardware and connectivity issues, supporting field installations—including work at heights when required—and maintaining comprehensive network documentation, policies, and procedures to ensure operational consistency and compliance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years as a Network Engineer (within the last 3 years).
  • Network architecture knowledge and experience.
  • Network switch administration.
  • Experience with patching and upgrading network devices and applications.
  • Network application troubleshooting skills.
  • Hardware installation and cabling experience.
  • Proficient with Linux and Windows.
  • Security+ certification.
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering and 12 years of experience or a high school diploma and 16 years of experience.
  • A CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph

Nice To Haves

  • Linux and/or Windows system administration experience is a plus.
  • CCNA or CCNP certification.
  • VMware architecture administration experience.
  • Application administration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with monitoring tools.
  • AWS/VM experience.
