About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Network Designer to join our team. This hybrid role is based in either Pitt, PA or Lake Mary, FL. The Network Designer will be responsible for designing and documenting network solutions, engaging with clients, and ensuring seamless integration of various network components. Requirements
- Proficiency in MPLS Circuits with Routers.
- Experience in connecting cross-managed systems.
- Ability to cross-connect within Equinix colocation centers.
- Knowledge of bridging the gaps between different network components.
- Expertise in Palo Alto Firewalls, Load Balancers (F5), and Routing Mechanisms: BGP.
- Strong skills in diagramming and documenting in Visio and PPT.
- Experience in engaging with clients, designing solutions, and creating blueprints for implementation.
Responsibilities
- Design and document network solutions, including blueprints for implementation.
- Engage with clients to understand their network needs and design appropriate solutions.
- Ensure proficiency in MPLS Circuits with Routers.
- Manage the connection of cross-managed systems.
- Facilitate cross-connections within Equinix colocation centers.
- Bridge the gaps between different network components.
- Configure and manage Palo Alto Firewalls and Load Balancers (F5).
- Implement and manage Routing Mechanisms, including BGP.
- Create diagrams and documentation using Visio and PPT.
