Network Design Engineer
About The Position
The Network Design Engineer will provide technical analysis in data network planning, engineering, and design. You’ll deliver specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. We’ll rely on you to test network systems and maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, hubs, bridges and gateways, etc. Technologies that aren’t just top-notch, they’re often top-secret. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field.
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field, or equivalent experience
- Ability to handle more complex assignments and grasp and apply new information quickly
