About The Position

The Network Deployment Engineer is responsible for planning and building new network environments. This role requires extensive experience in networking, with a strong focus on Cisco ACI architecture, virtualization integration, and common network hardware. The engineer will also be involved in troubleshooting, documenting, and deploying network changes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement scalable and secure network solutions.

Requirements

• Ten plus (10+) years of experience in networking environment responsible to plan and build new network environment.
• Certified technical engineer (typically Cisco CCIE or comparable).
• Expertise in Cisco ACI architecture, including APIC, leaf, and spine switches.
• Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and their integration with ACI.
• In-depth hands on experience with common network hardware including F5 Load balancer, Cisco router, switches, and firewalls.
• Full understanding of ITIL and service management principals.
• Hands on experience in complex LAN/WAN, MAN, DWDM, and SONET architecture.
• Full understanding of operational knowledge of loop prevention protocols like spanning tree protocols.
• In-depth knowledge of L2 protocols like HSRP, VRRP, VTP, 802.1Q, Flex Link, and LACP.
• In-depth working knowledge and troubleshooting of IP routing and network protocols including OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, spanning tree, and multicast.
• Full understanding of operational knowledge for troubleshooting of Cisco operating systems like IOS and NX-OS.
• Strong background in network architecture, automation, and security.
• Expertise in Cisco ACI solutions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and build new network environments.
