Network Delivery Manager

EricssonOttawa, ON
CA$136,000 - CA$178,500Onsite

About The Position

Ericsson is looking for a Network Delivery Manager (NDM) to join our Ottawa-based team. In this senior, customer-facing delivery leadership role, you will own end-to-end delivery of network software and feature outcomes across major North American CSP accounts — from pre-GA trials and prototypes through general availability, rollout, maintenance, and back-mapping. You will serve as the bridge between Ericsson's R&D teams and end customers, translating technical output into safe, efficient live-network deployments. This role operates on a quarterly release cadence and is central to ensuring that planned network changes land correctly and deliver clear customer value.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated program management discipline — the ability to plan, track, and drive complex deliveries independently
  • Strong customer-facing leadership with experience managing senior stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to simplify and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
  • Technical breadth in RAN/network software — comfortable engaging with and challenging technical data, without needing to be a deep technical expert
  • Familiarity with AI tools and a curiosity for adopting new technologies
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and managing unknowns; self-driven with an end-to-end ownership mindset
  • Experience with escalation management and the ability to de-escalate high-pressure situations
  • Availability for on-call support during release windows; occasional travel may be required

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of quarterly software releases independently into customer networks
  • Act as the primary R&D voice to the customer, owning all customer communication and managing release scope
  • Handle escalations and drive de-escalation across KPI impacts, network crashes, and customer queries
  • Use dashboards and analytics tools (e.g., OPM / CX Network Analytics) to monitor performance, quality KPIs, and delivery health
  • Apply AI tools as an integral part of day-to-day delivery work
  • Manage risk and "First Time Right" principles on network changes, including back-mapping, correction releases, and prototype activations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Customer Engagement Managers, Market Area Managers) and external customers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Rogers, and Bell

  • Basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage at two-times annual base pay at no cost
  • Short-term disability coverage
  • Option to participate in Ericsson’s Stock Purchase Plan
