About The Position

Oscar is hiring a Network Coordinator to join their Network Contracting team. Oscar is a health insurance company that utilizes a full stack technology platform and focuses on serving its members. The Network Coordinator will support membership growth and management by executing the local network strategy and ensuring providers have the necessary information and support to deliver high-quality member care and achieve quality outcomes. This is a remote position open to candidates in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, or Texas. Occasional travel may be required for team meetings and company events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, or 1+ years healthcare or healthcare related field.
• 1+ years of work experience in project management, operations or related.
• 1+ years of experience with Word, Excel, and Powerpoint (or Google suite equivalent).
• 1+ years of experience in a client facing or customer support capacity.

Nice To Haves

• Experience negotiating contracts, specifically with ancillaries, facilities, specialty providers, and physician groups.
• Experience in a project/program management.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and/or execution of a network construction and support plan for a market or state with support from your manager.
• Meet defined metrics and SLAs including but not limited to provider issue resolution and/or contract completion.
• Support overall contracting negotiations including data entry, research, provider outreach, and/or other administrative tasks.
• Working with senior network specialists and management, support the Identification, sourcing, and/or contracting efforts with providers in a region.
• Document and share provider feedback, objections and questions to support the continuous improvement of templates and processes.
• Assist with regular reporting on network adequacy, construction, and improvement as required by management or Compliance.
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
