About The Position

IT Management Corporation (ITMC) is seeking a Network Cabling & Low Voltage Technician to join their Network Technical Services team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low-voltage and data cabling systems at client sites. The technician will be responsible for various tasks including pulling, routing, terminating, and testing copper and fiber optic cables, installing cable support structures, mounting low-voltage equipment, and troubleshooting voice and data line issues. The position requires a strong understanding of BICSI standards and OSHA requirements, comfort with tools, and the ability to perform physical tasks. The company is a growing technology solutions provider with a focus on the SLED market.

Requirements

4+ years of hands-on data infrastructure experience
Working knowledge of BICSI standards and OSHA requirements
Experience with fiber terminations, copper patch panels, and cable testing equipment
Familiarity with IP and analog video cabling
Comfort with hand and power tools
Ability to lift 50+ lbs unassisted, work at heights, and perform physical tasks including climbing, kneeling, and crawling
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Nice To Haves

Prior construction site experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Pull, route, terminate, and test CAT6/CAT6A copper and fiber (single-mode and multi-mode) cable in new and existing buildings
Install and dress copper patch panels; label and test all connections
Install cable support structures: racks, J-hooks, and related hardware
Mount and connect security cameras, wireless access points, and other low-voltage equipment
Troubleshoot and diagnose voice and data line issues
Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed
Keep job sites clean, organized, and hazard-free
Keep company vehicles clean and organized
