About The Position

CACI is seeking a Network and Computer System Administrator in support of a program whose initiative is aimed at combating evolving and emerging threats, supporting related exploitation and replication activities, and advancing operational rehearsal, exercise, wargaming, and counter system development. Additionally, we are focusing on integration and experimentation, including Modeling and Simulation. Requirements

  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux server administration
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Knowledge of network security controls, firewalls, and VPNs
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and system performance optimization
  • Understanding of backup and disaster recovery procedures
  • Associate of Arts (AA) degree or 2 year technical school
  • 5 years of relevant experience or 8 years experience in lieu of degree
  • Active TS/SCI

Nice To Haves

  • CompTIA Network+, Security+
  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator
  • Cisco CCNA or equivalent networking certification
  • IAT Level II certification per DoD 8570.01-M
  • Experience supporting USINDOPACOM operations
  • Knowledge of Software-Defined Networking (SD-WAN) and hybrid cloud architectures
  • Experience with C4I systems integration
  • Familiarity with DOW modeling and simulation environments
  • Experience with COMSEC and classified network administration (SIPRnet, JWICS)
  • Active PMP or ITIL certification

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain the organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers in support of critical DOW operations
  • Perform comprehensive system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems to ensure mission-critical operational readiness
  • Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups. Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access
  • Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses. Coordinate network modeling, analysis, and planning between network and data communications hardware and software
  • Ensure all network operations comply with Army cybersecurity regulations (AR 25-2), NIST SP 800-171 Rev. 2, and other applicable DOW security standards
  • Support Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) simulation environments and distributed exercise protocols across USINDOPACOM operational requirements
  • Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and operational procedures. Provide technical reports as required
