Supports network operations, monitoring, documentation, and troubleshooting for campus connectivity services.
Requirements
- Relevant degree, certification, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Strong written, verbal, documentation, and customer-service communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to confidentiality, data stewardship, security awareness, and institutional service standards.
- Technical competencies: Network fundamentals; Documentation; Service orientation; Escalation; Field support.
Nice To Haves
- Higher education technology experience.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, endpoint management, cloud services, ticketing, documentation, or project tools.
- Networking coursework or certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist with network tickets, device documentation, cabling coordination, wireless support, and standard configuration tasks.
- Monitor network alerts, escalate issues, and support maintenance windows.
- Maintain accurate port, device, and location records.
