JSI Cabinetry is a leading U.S. supplier of kitchen and bath cabinetry, committed to fast delivery and the highest quality products. JSI operates distribution facilities in Fall River, Chicago, Atlanta, and Denver. Our expansive footprint allows us to serve over 2,500 premier kitchen and bath dealers across the United States, with all-wood cabinets shipped as quickly as the next day. We currently have an opportunity available for a Network Administrator reporting to the Head of IT. We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our IT team. As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of company-wide network infrastructure, including enterprise wireless networks. Your expertise in firewalls, LAN/WAN, VPN technologies, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, SMTP, Windows Server operating systems, EDI/API technology, SQL, Active Directory, Azure Platform, and enterprise Wi-Fi networks will be crucial in ensuring the smooth and secure operation of our network and surveillance infrastructure.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
At least 2 years of experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role, with demonstrated expertise in firewalls, WAN, VPN technologies, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, SMTP, Windows Server operating systems, EDI/API technology, SQL, Active Directory, Azure Platform, and enterprise Wi-Fi networks.
Strong understanding of network protocols, topologies, and architecture.
Solid knowledge of network security best practices and experience implementing security measures.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and provide technical support to end users.
Must be willing to work on-site and respond to critical issues after hours.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, and maintain the organization’s network infrastructure, including firewalls, LAN/WAN, and VPNs.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively implement necessary adjustments or enhancements to optimize network reliability and performance.
Manage network security measures, including implementing and maintaining firewall rules, access controls, and intrusion detection systems for both wired and wireless networks.
Administer and maintain TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and SMTP protocols to ensure efficient network communication.
Install, configure, and support Windows Server operating systems and related services.
Install, configure and support company-wide digital surveillance system.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EDI/API technology and facilitate seamless data exchange with external systems.
Administer and maintain on-premises Active Directory and Microsoft Entra, including user management, group policies, and access controls.
Evaluate, recommend, and implement network hardware and software upgrades or replacements as necessary, ensuring compatibility and functionality with enterprise LAN/WLAN solutions.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users regarding network-related issues.
Stay up to date with the latest advancements in network technologies and trends and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
