About The Position

Link Solutions is seeking a Network Administrator (Senior-Level) to join our team in Clarksburg, WV. This role provides hands-on support for network infrastructure, ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performing connectivity across multiple systems and environments. This is a great opportunity for network professionals with experience in enterprise environments who enjoy troubleshooting, optimization, and working with modern networking technologies.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen with an active DoW Secret Clearance.
  • Five (5+) years of relevant experience working in a networking environment.
  • IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, etc.).
  • Experience with network administration, engineering, or IT infrastructure support.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching).
  • Experience working with enterprise networking equipment (Cisco, Juniper, or similar).
  • Ability to troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues.
  • Familiarity with network security concepts.

Nice To Haves

  • BA/BS in computer science or information technology.
  • Experience with government or regulated environments
  • Exposure to secure networks or multi-environment infrastructures
  • Knowledge of IPv6, VPNs, or wireless networking
  • Relevant certifications such as Network+, CCNA, or equivalent
  • A problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems.
  • Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain network performance, availability, and security across enterprise environments
  • Install, configure, and support network devices such as switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless systems
  • Troubleshoot network issues across a variety of platforms and technologies
  • Support routing and switching operations, including Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining network security controls and best practices
  • Configure and support routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP (experience preferred, not required)
  • Support VPNs, network access controls (e.g., 802.1x), and secure connectivity solutions
  • Document network configurations and contribute to process improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support overall system performance
  • Provide guidance and support to users on network-related topics
