About The Position

Multimatic is a privately held global enterprise supplying engineered components, systems and services to the automotive industry. The company’s core competencies include the development and manufacture of complex mechanisms and body hardware, suspension systems and body structural components as well as the design, engineering and development of light weight composite automotive systems. Network Administrator position is responsible for designing, installing and supporting the organization’s local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), network segments or Internet segments. Key responsibilities include maintaining network hardware and software, analyzing problems, and monitoring networks to ensure availability to system users. The Network Administrator will plan, coordinate and implement network security measures, including firewalls and other secure technologies. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a highly dynamic environment, either individually or as part of a team.

Requirements

  • University Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or a closely related technical field.
  • 2-3 years in a related field.
  • Cisco CCNA certification.
  • Minimum 3 years’ working experience with Cisco & Fortinet Firewalls.
  • Experience performing firewall auditing and compliance monitoring using FireMon.
  • Minimum 3 years working experience with Cisco IOS Switching.
  • Minimum 1 year’s working experience OT & IoT Systems.
  • Minimum 1 year experience configuring and supporting Microsoft Azure Cloud networking.
  • Expert knowledge of Cisco and Fortinet WAN/LAN/WI-FI/VPN technology.
  • Working knowledge of VMware environment & Microsoft AD.
  • Knowledge of telephony technologies, specifically PRI and VOIP.
  • Experience in ticketing system usage and network monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

  • Help develop, design, implement and maintain policies and procedures, focusing on providing 100% uptime of our global network infrastructure.
  • Recommend and provide solutions and recommendations on emerging network products, services, solutions and standards.
  • Install or help install new network hardware and software on a global level.
  • Ongoing configuration and maintenance of network services, equipment and devices.
  • Help manage the core network system backup and restore protocols.
  • Monitor network performance and suggest/implement performance tuning.
  • Manage Wi-Fi infrastructure and software.
  • Ensure the 24/7 network uptime for all WAN/LAN levels.
  • Provide root-cause analysis for all network related outage events that impact uptime.
  • Dealing with daily support tickets as well as long-term projects.
