About The Position

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Network Technician to support network infrastructure, security systems, and technology deployments across multiple locations. This role sits between the Service Desk and Systems Administration teams, providing hands-on technical support, network troubleshooting, and physical infrastructure installation. The ideal candidate enjoys working in the field, collaborating with multiple IT teams, and solving technical challenges in diverse environments. This is a heavily travel-oriented position with approximately 60% travel and 40% office-based work. Candidates should be comfortable working independently, lifting equipment, operating man lifts, and supporting installations at customer sites.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and maintain network infrastructure, including Cisco, Fortinet, and Ubiquiti.
Support network connectivity, hardware, and infrastructure initiatives.
Install, configure, and support surveillance camera systems.
Design, deploy, and maintain NVR (Network Video Recorder) server solutions.
Assist with cable pulls and physical network installations.
Partner with Security teams on camera and access control projects.
Travel to various client locations to install, troubleshoot, and support technology solutions.
Operate man lifts and safely perform elevated installation work.
Lift and move networking and security equipment as needed.
Collaborate across Service Desk, Systems Administration, Security, and Infrastructure teams.
Provide onsite technical support during deployments, upgrades, and maintenance projects.
