About The Position

Link Solutions is seeking Network Administrators (Intermediate/Senior) to join our team in Orlando, FL. This role supports the Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) headquarters, focusing on the administration, maintenance, security, and optimization of Government network infrastructure for mission-critical operations. The Network Administrator will collaborate closely with systems administrators, cybersecurity personnel, engineers, and operations teams to ensure secure implementation, proper maintenance, performance optimization, and reliable availability of network services for Government customers. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba technologies, network troubleshooting, capacity planning, and cybersecurity compliance within enterprise environments. This role is crucial for ensuring the availability, integrity, and security of critical network infrastructure while supporting modernization initiatives and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen with an active Secret Clearance.
  • DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification or higher (CompTIA Security+ or equivalent).
  • Baseline certification required within six (6) months of hire if not already obtained.
  • Intermediate-Level: Four (4+) years of experience supporting, administering, and troubleshooting enterprise networking environments.
  • Intermediate-Level: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA); Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) preferred.
  • Intermediate-Level: Juniper Networks Certified Associate, Junos (JNCIA-Junos).
  • Intermediate-Level: VMware Certified Associate or equivalent virtualization experience.
  • Intermediate-Level: Experience supporting Juniper, Cisco, and Aruba networking equipment.
  • Senior-Level: Eight (8+) years of experience supporting, administering, and troubleshooting enterprise networking environments.
  • Senior-Level: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification.
  • Senior-Level: Juniper Networks Certified Associate, Junos (JNCIA-Junos).
  • Senior-Level: Experience supporting Juniper, Cisco, and Aruba networking equipment.
  • Senior-Level: Extensive experience managing enterprise routing, switching, wireless, and network infrastructure technologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, IT Service Management, or a related technical discipline.
  • Microsoft certification supporting Windows 10, Windows 11, or Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administration.
  • Experience working within Department of Defense (DoD) environments.
  • Experience with knowledge management initiatives, process development, and technical documentation.
  • Experience supporting mission-critical systems and high-profile or VIP customers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier II/III network and desktop support for enterprise environments.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network connectivity, performance, and availability issues across multiple environments.
  • Install, configure, administer, support, and maintain network infrastructure, server hardware, software, operating systems, and associated peripherals.
  • Monitor network and server health, diagnose issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure rapid and effective resolution.
  • Collect, analyze, and review network utilization and performance data to support capacity planning and infrastructure optimization.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Interface with vendors regarding procurement, maintenance, lifecycle management, and support of network and infrastructure technologies.
  • Support the development and delivery of user and technical training sessions to ensure effective utilization of network resources and services.
  • Administer and support enterprise networking technologies including routers, switches, wireless controllers, and associated management platforms.
  • Support and maintain Cisco ACI environments and wireless networking infrastructure.
  • Administer and support enterprise storage networking solutions, including NetApp, HPE storage area networks, and Fibre Channel SAN switches.
  • Collaborate with systems, cybersecurity, and engineering teams to implement network enhancements and resolve operational issues.
  • Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, configuration standards, and operational procedures.
  • Implement and maintain network security best practices and support compliance with applicable cybersecurity requirements and regulations.
