About The Position

Leidos is seeking an IT Network Administrator for its Ft Worth Data Center to support the 24x7x365 Flight Service IT Operation. This role is crucial for maintaining complex multi-platform environments that support general aviation pilots with safety flight briefings, search and rescue activities, and ground-to-air communication systems. The administrator will also be responsible for supporting deployed Leidos Corporate internal network file servers, desktops, notebooks, and printers within the Ft Worth facility. This position requires after-hours support, independent problem resolution, and the implementation of new hardware in production computer rooms, completing tasks that cannot be done during regular shifts to minimize risks. The role involves maintaining technical expertise in network and computer hardware/software, coordinating third-party maintenance, troubleshooting user issues, and supporting network engineers. A key responsibility is the "Break/Fix" support for all Flight Service operational enterprise equipment and systems 24x7x365, as directed by the FFSP Service Desk and Subject Matter Experts. The role also includes all desktop software support within the facility and administering domain resources to ensure secure and viable internal Leidos and FFSP operational networks and systems.

Requirements

Proven Server Administration Support for Microsoft Windows 2019 and above
Proven Desktop Application Support (MS 365, AutoCad, PDFGear, MS Project, MS Visio, VMWare Workstation)
Rack and hardware installations in Computer Room environments
Must be able to obtain an SF-85P Public Trust clearance from the FAA customer.
Due to contract requirements, the position requires U.S. Citizenship.

Responsibilities

Works independently after-hours supporting Maintenance Window hardware installations on third shift for the installation of new hardware into production operations for the Flight Service computer rooms and Flight Service Operations room floor equipment.
Responsible for supporting program personnel with all administrative desktop Office 365 Applications.
Responsible for assisting Leidos Corporate technical teams to solve network/application/system problems encountered in facility.
Support File Server monthly patching and vulnerability updates.
Provide support to the Hardware Engineering Team by installing and supporting Production Desktop Workstations, Production Network Components, Production Telco interfaces and demarc points, and Production Servers, Appliances, Network Devices and system components in production computer rooms.
Work as part of a larger team of Subject Matter Experts working in the Network and Security Operations Teams to affect repairs to all automation equipment within the facility and within the FFSP enterprise networks.
Responsible for "Break/Fix" on all Flight Service operational enterprise equipment 24x7x365 and systems as directed by the FFSP Service Desk and related department Subject Matter Experts.
Responsible for all desktop software support within the facility.
Administering domain resources and processes ensuring secure and viable internal Leidos and FFSP Flight Service deployed operational network and systems.
Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.
Coordinates third-party maintenance for network and office automation equipment.
Troubleshoots problems with department users.
Supports network engineers as needed.
