Position Summary: Install and support the organization's local & wide area networks both wired and wireless. Monitor and maintain firewalls. Monitor network and security logs and work within the team to correct any issues found. Work within the team to identify and make changes related to network infrastructure and security. Provision Internet access and establish VPNs. Responsible for the performance, maintenance, security, installation, upgrade of LAN/WAN. Maintain physical wiring closets. Maintain current & accurate device inventory. Work within the team to ensure high availability of LAN and WAN. Ability to troubleshoot and correct simple to moderately complex infrastructure issues. Ability to maintain and troubleshoot simple to moderately complex issues related to VOIP. Participates in DR planning, testing, and implementation. Works with other IS team members to ensure that servers & network infrastructure are installed in the data centers according to established standards. May be required to float throughout LMHS and perform other duties as requested. Responsibilities: Works Primarily within the Information Systems Department and with vendors. May Occasionally work with other LMHS department employees, physicians or leadership. Provides assistance to physicians and external customers. Able to read, comprehend, and teach complicated and detailed instructions in order to plan and perform position duties. Able to integrate and interpret data from diverse sources in order to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve Information Systems and communication related problems. Able to meet deadlines, to plan effectively, pay close attention to details, and follow-up with the customer in a timely fashion. Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
