ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Installs and configures network hardware and software. Monitors, maintains, repairs, and upgrades network infrastructure hardware and software. Ensures the network provides a high degree of security for the organization and its users. Performs routine configuration tasks such as VLAN changes, access-list updates, and basic firewall/VPN adjustments under guidance. Monitors and responds to network and security alerts in a timely and efficient manner. Resolves assigned tickets related to networking and connectivity issues in a timely manner. Provides support to the help desk by troubleshooting and escalating network-related problems. Participates in on-call rotation for off-hour support. Researches, prices and implements new technologies to support the information technology program. Assists team members, interdepartmental staff and clients in a professional and efficient manner. Collaborates with IT team members to ensure reliable day-to-day network operations. Performs other tasks as may be assigned by manager/supervisor. Ability to maintain a consistent and regular attendance in accordance with an established schedule. Ability to work onsite/in-office and in accordance with CCS and department policies and procedures.
