About The Position

The Network Administrator ensures that Nice-Pak’s enterprise network infrastructure remains secure, scalable, and high-performing across multiple locations and cloud environments. This role is critical to ensuring reliable connectivity, maintaining strong security, and enabling efficient IT operations that support the entire business. By designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level networks, the Network Administrator directly supports Nice-Pak’s ability to deliver quality products to customers, safeguard sensitive data, and enable associates to perform their work effectively. This position works directly with a wide variety of collaborators across multiple departments and locations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology preferred, or five years’ experience in the IT field.
• Minimum of 5 years in enterprise network engineering.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and QoS.
• Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and cloud platforms (M365, Azure).
• Strong troubleshooting, automation, and optimization skills.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity protocols and ITIL/Agile methodologies.
• Strong communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

• Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or VMware certifications are considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise network architecture (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi/SD-WAN).
• Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
• Monitor performance, resolve connectivity issues, and support cloud networking.
• Automate network tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Python).
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams and document network standards.
• Manage vendor activities and ensure alignment with technical and project requirements.
• Lead hardware/software deployments and testing efforts to meet project timelines.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining disaster recovery procedures and documentation.
• Provide Tier 3 support and participate in on-call rotation.
