About The Position

Nakupuna Services is seeking a Network Administrator. The Network Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing network infrastructure, including wireless systems, routers, switches, Cisco DNA Center, and Identity Services Engine (ISE) while ensuring network security, performance, and reliability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in network engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of network administration experience
  • Required certifications to perform job duties including at a minimum Security+ CE and any additional specific standards such as:
  • Cisco CCNP Enterprise
  • Cisco CCNP Security
  • Cisco DNA Center Certification
  • Cisco ISE Certification
  • Wireless Professional Certifications
  • CompTIA Network+
  • Expert knowledge of networking protocols
  • Strong understanding of wireless technologies
  • Experience with Cisco DNA Center
  • Proficiency with Cisco ISE
  • Knowledge of network security principles
  • Understanding of routing and switching
  • Experience with network automation
  • Familiarity with SDN concepts

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain network devices (routers, switches, wireless)
  • Network engineering support will maintain the R&D networks and systems supporting the application development and application hosting environments, in coordination with the network service providers
  • Manage Cisco DNA Center infrastructure
  • Administer Cisco ISE platform
  • Monitor network performance and availability
  • Provide 99.5% uptime of hardware, operating systems, and networks during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 0700 to 1900, and infrequent support outside regular business hours, including weekends.
  • Implement network security policies
  • Troubleshoot network issues
  • Provide reporting information assurance and validations into various Army/DoD systems
