About The Position
We are currently seeking an experienced Network Administrator to join our IT team at Solid State Devices, Inc. In this mid-level role, the primary responsibility is maintaining the day-to-day operation of an organization's computer networks. This includes tasks like managing hardware and software, monitoring network performance, securing the network from threats, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Requirements
- Certifications like: CompTIA Network+ Cisco CCNA/CCNP Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Juniper JNCIA
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
- Associate's / Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 4 years work experience
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), and intranet systems.
- Ensure optimal network performance and uptime.
- Implement firewalls, VPNs, and other security tools.
- Monitor for suspicious activity, respond to breaches, and apply patches/updates.
- Install and configure routers, switches, and servers.
- Set up network operating systems and applications.
- Assist users with connectivity issues.
- Manage access controls, permissions, and authentication.
- Keep records of network configurations, maintenance, and issues.
- Prepare reports on network performance and incidents.
