About The Position

The Network Administrator will be responsible for service delivery, documentation, and operational support of the enterprise network infrastructure. A solid technical background in various network technologies, including but not limited to routing/switching, WAN, and wireless communications, is required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• Ability to problem solve, troubleshoot, and be attentive to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, while maintaining a courteous attitude when dealing with customers and users
• Willingness to complete several concurrent tasks in a fast-paced, detail-oriented, multi-tasking environment
• Ability to explain technical terms in everyday language
• Experience with Switching (VLAN, Spanning Tree, Industrial), Routing (EIGRP, BGP), WAN Technologies (MPLS, VPN, SD-WAN), Wireless
• Knowledge of network management and monitoring tools (SNMP, NetFlow, Syslog)
• 2+ years of hands-on experience designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting enterprise architecture with an emphasis on networking technologies

Responsibilities

• Engage in network planning and implementation
• Provide operational support for enterprise network infrastructure as required
• Leverage technical and industry knowledge to exercise good judgment, evaluate trade-offs, and plan for risk mitigation during the design and implementation project phases
• Aid in health monitoring of enterprise network operations and services
• Assist others with understanding network technologies and industry best practices
