About The Position

CTG is seeking an experienced Network Administrator to support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure in a complex, cloud-connected environment. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience administering LAN/WAN networks, firewalls, VPNs, routing and switching technologies, and network security solutions. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to optimize network performance while ensuring high availability and security. This is a 12-month contract role with possible extension, and the position is remote, with a preference for Boulder, CO.

  • 3–5+ years of experience as a Network Systems Administrator or Network Administrator.
  • Experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure in medium to large environments.
  • Hands-on experience with routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and network security technologies.
  • Experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing network performance.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting cloud-connected or hybrid network environments is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or similar certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, administer, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Monitor network performance and availability using enterprise monitoring tools.
  • Troubleshoot complex network connectivity, routing, switching, and security issues.
  • Manage LAN, WAN, VPN, firewall, proxy, and load-balancing technologies.
  • Configure and support TCP/IP networking, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, and IPsec.
  • Implement network security policies, access management, and content filtering solutions.
  • Perform network upgrades, firmware updates, and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and security teams on network initiatives.
  • Document network configurations, procedures, and architecture.
  • Support infrastructure projects and recommend improvements for reliability and scalability.
