About The Position

EDB is hiring a NetSuite Developer cum Administrator to own, extend, and automate its NetSuite environment. This hybrid role is weighted toward development, with approximately 60% development and integration work and 40% administration. The role maintains a stable, well-governed NetSuite environment while building SuiteScript customizations, integrations, workflow automation, and AI-enabled features to reduce manual work across Finance, Sales, Operations, and Support.

The position works closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions. The successful candidate will use AI tools both in development work and in the solutions built, while supporting NetSuite governance, release management, financial processes, audit needs, and user support.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on NetSuite experience in a combined administrator and developer capacity.
• Strong SuiteScript 2.x (JavaScript) skills, including debugging, governance management, and performance tuning.
• Proven experience with SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, SuiteQL, saved searches, and SDF deployments.
• Experience building and supporting integrations using REST/SOAP web services, RESTlets, JSON, and OAuth 2.0.
• Solid understanding of NetSuite financial modules, including GL, AP, AR, Revenue Recognition, Inventory, and Procurement, as well as role and permission design.
• Demonstrated experience applying generative AI or machine learning to business systems, including prompt engineering, calling LLM APIs from code, and daily use of AI coding assistants; able to describe a real AI-enabled solution shipped or prototyped.
• Working knowledge of Git and sandbox-to-production release processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, including ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

• NetSuite certifications such as SuiteFoundation, SuiteCloud Developer II, ERP Consultant, or Administrator.
• Experience with NetSuite SuiteApps, SuiteBilling, Advanced Revenue Management, or multi-subsidiary and multi-currency environments.
• Familiarity with iPaaS tools such as Celigo, Boomi, Workato, or n8n, and data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Power BI.
• Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector search, or AI agent frameworks connected to ERP data.
• Knowledge of Python or Node.js for supporting services and automation.
• Experience in a SaaS or subscription business.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy SuiteScript 2.x solutions, including User Event, Client, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, Suitelet, RESTlet, and Workflow Action scripts.
• Build and maintain SuiteFlow workflows, custom records, forms, fields, and saved searches.
• Develop and maintain SuiteTalk SOAP and REST and RESTlet integrations between NetSuite and CRM, banking, and other data platforms.
• Write clean, documented, version-controlled code and follow SuiteCloud Development Framework deployment practices.
• Identify and deliver AI use cases in NetSuite, including document data extraction, transaction classification, anomaly detection, forecasting support, and natural-language reporting.
• Integrate LLM APIs and NetSuite's N/llm module into scripts and workflows, using prompt design, guardrails, and logging.
• Use AI coding assistants to support development, code review, and test creation, validating all generated output.
• Evaluate AI features and third-party AI tools for suitability, cost, security, and data privacy.
• Manage users, roles, permissions, subsidiaries, accounting periods, and segregation-of-duties controls.
• Maintain sandbox and production environments, manage releases, and conduct NetSuite's twice-yearly release testing cycle.
• Monitor script performance, governance limits, integration failures, and data quality; resolve issues promptly.
• Support month-end close, audit, and SOX-style compliance requirements through accurate configuration and documentation.
• Gather requirements from Finance, Sales, Operations, and other teams and translate them into technical designs.
• Provide tier-3 support, user training, and clear documentation.
• Mentor junior admins and analysts and contribute to NetSuite roadmap planning.
