About The Position

The Florida Senate Office of Information Technology is hiring a .NET Technical Lead / Software Team Leader to lead the design, development, and evolution of modern applications used across the Senate organization. Our development team builds internal systems using technologies such as .NET, Angular, SQL Server, and Azure DevOps in a collaborative environment focused on delivering practical, reliable solutions. Senate IT offers the opportunity to work on meaningful engineering challenges while maintaining a healthy work-life balance within a supportive and collaborative team environment. This position is based in Tallahassee, Florida and requires on-site work. Financial Disclosure: Pursuant to sections 112.3144 and 112.3145, F.S., this position is required to electronically file a Form 1 –Statement of Financial Interests with the Florida Commission on Ethics within 30 days of hire.

  • Progressively responsible information systems experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education. Any combination of progressively responsible information systems experience and post-secondary training in disciplines as described above totaling eight years.
