About The Position

We are working with a government entity in Austin, Texas, to find a .NET developer to support an ongoing upgrade project. This role involves supporting inter-government projects and platform enhancements, as well as a portal project designed to upgrade how the Government interacts with internal and external partners. The goal is to move away from traditional Client Services Systems and build slick portals for seamless information flow and improved partner interactions. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously, possess strong communication skills, and collaborate effectively with a small team of engineers. The technology stack includes .Net 6 (.Net Core), .Net 5, and SQL. Experience with JavaScript and React on the front end is a plus, but the primary focus is on the middleware and back end (.Net Core/C# and SQL).

Requirements

• Must live in or be easily commutable to downtown Austin.
• 3+ years of experience with .Net Core and/or C#.
• Experience with MVC.
• Experience with SQL.
• Experience working across the stack (.Net Core/C# and SQL).
• Must be able to work on-site in downtown Austin 5 days per week.
