About The Position

Derex Technologies Inc is seeking a .NET Lead to join their team. This role involves designing and architecting scalable, efficient, and secure back-end solutions, leading a team of developers, writing high-quality code, developing RESTful APIs and microservices, optimizing databases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The lead will also serve as the primary technical contact for clients and stakeholders and prepare technical documentation.

Requirements

• Proficient in C#, ASP.NET Core, and .NET Framework.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong expertise in SQL Server, Entity Framework Core, and query optimization.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub).
• Experience with asynchronous programming, dependency injection, and middleware in .NET.
• P&C insurance domain

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, efficient, and secure back-end solutions based on client requirements.
• Lead a team of back-end developers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship.
• Write and maintain high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code using C# and .NET Core/.NET Framework.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices for seamless communication between front-end applications and databases.
• Design, implement, and optimize relational and NoSQL databases to support application needs.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (front-end, DevOps, QA, product management) to ensure end-to-end project success.
• Act as the primary technical contact for clients and stakeholders during all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system design, architecture, and deployment guides.
